Yurraawi ~ At the heart of our sanctuary is the Family Shield — a sacred symbol, a medicine wheel, and a living map of relationship and alchemy. This shield is a reflection of how we hold each other, how we tend the land, and how we generate love and abundance through unity.

A circular illustration featuring a red heart with a flame on top, a snake, and a scroll with a droplet, surrounded by symbols and a decorative border with small flowers and circles.

The outer circle of the shield represents the four directions — the Four Pillars, each embodied by a parent figure. Between each parent are our young people and all figures are joined hand-in-hand, forming a circle of togetherness.

Between each parent and our young is a heart, representing love. Between each pair of young people is a flower, symbolising the land, the care we give, and the abundance we grow together.

The circle shows how we hold each other, how we uphold our shared boundaries, accountability, and presence. It is through this holding — this togetherness — that we generate love and from love, we thrive & abundance flows.

We Balance the four aspects of being
Illumination ~ Wisdom ~ Introspection ~ Innocence

“When we become too rooted in the East, the place of illumination and vision, we may gain insight but lose our sense of wonder — forgetting the softness and openness of the South, where innocence resides. If we stand too long in the North, holding great wisdom and life experience, even touched by the lightness of the South, we may still drift out of balance — missing the deep reflection of the West, the realm of introspection, and the renewal offered by the East.

To truly walk in balance is to let these four aspects/perspectives speak to each other — not allowing one to dominate, but letting them weave a whole story and a living self. This is the path of right relationship, with the land, with each other and within.”
