WOOFing & Helpers

$0.00

For those feeling called to immerse themselves more deeply in the rhythms of JAANYMILI, we welcome a small number of WOOFers and helpers throughout the year.

This is an opportunity to experience village life through shared contribution, learning and connection. We live simply and closely — sharing meals, projects, celebrations and the everyday moments that weave community together.

This pathway is best suited to those who are adaptable, self-responsible and genuinely excited by communal living. We are not a retreat centre or a commercial farm. We are people living, learning and creating together.

What to Expect

Life at JAANYMILI follows the changing rhythms of the land and the needs of the community. Some days are full of activity and shared projects, while others invite slower moments of reflection, creativity and connection.

You may find yourself:

  • Caring for goats, chickens and other animal family members

  • Supporting syntropic gardens and food systems

  • Assisting with natural building and maintenance projects

  • Preparing and sharing communal meals

  • Helping with seasonal gatherings and workshops

  • Tending shared spaces with care and attention

  • Walking alongside the everyday unfolding of community life

Contribution

We ask helpers to contribute approximately 20 hours per week, usually shared across several days in rhythms that support both the individual and the community.

The intention is not perfection or productivity, but meaningful participation and reciprocity.

Living Together

Living in community invites presence, communication and flexibility.

We share meals, responsibilities and many aspects of daily life. We value initiative, self-awareness and a willingness to contribute where needed.

There is also space for rest, solitude and personal rhythms. We recognise that everyone brings different capacities, experiences and needs.

Length of Stay

  • Helpers assisting specific gatherings: duration aligned with the event.

  • WOOFers: minimum stay of 2 weeks.

  • Longer stays of up to 3 months may be explored through mutual alignment.

Food & Accommodation

Camping accommodation is provided through designated camping areas.

Food arrangements are discussed together prior to arrival and may include participation in a shared food kitty or self-managed meals, depending on the season and circumstances.

Is This for You?

This experience may be a beautiful fit if you:

  • Enjoy shared living and communal rhythms

  • Are willing to contribute with initiative and care

  • Feel inspired by regenerative living and natural building

  • Love animals, gardens and hands-on projects

  • Value simplicity, connection and learning through doing

If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
